What is Personal Training?
Personal training is basically getting expert advice and support from a trainer to ensure that you are taking all the correct actions to achieve optimal health and fat loss. Your trainer will take a holistic approach to your fitness regime and will advise you on exercise, lifestyle changes and nutrition. They will also serve as an excellent motivator to ensure you are always progressing and moving forward with your health and wellness.
Why would anyone need a Personal Trainer?
The clients we work with vary greatly in age, body shape and fitness levels. However what remains constant is the desire to change something about their health and fitness that they are currently not happy with. Often our clients have tried dieting and exercising with little results or simply do not know where to begin. Whilst other clients we work with have been exercising for a while without ever getting great returns for all their hard work.
Will a Personal Trainer work me really hard and do I need to be fit to survive the workouts?
Your trainer will tailor your sessions to suit your current fitness levels so you do not need to be fit to get started. At Get Results we do not buy into the ‘no pain no gain’ philosophy. Our philosophy is more train smart, listen to the body and ensure that you overload it enough so it has to adapt and change.
What will happen at my Consultation?
At your initial consultation we will help you develop a health and fitness plan that can be implemented into your life straight away. We will help you create an exciting vision for your health and fitness and develop a clear plan on how we will achieve this goal. At your consultation you will also pick which training program best suits your needs.
What is the 5 step process?
Our 5 step process has been developed through our 14 years’ experience in the fitness industry where we have been on a journey to discover the most effective ways to lose weight and gain optimal health. We have now taken this knowledge and put it in an easy to follow 5 step process. Since the introduction of the 5 step process we have supported hundreds of clients to achieve great results with their health and wellness.
What do I need at my first session?
At your first session all you need is your signed medical form, comfortable clothing and a positive attitude to achieving your goals.
What happens if I can’t make a session?
We ask that you provide our trainer with 24 hours’ notice to allow them to schedule someone else into your available slot. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given then your session for that slot will be lost. If 24 hours is given you can reschedule your session for another time that week or carry the session onto the following week.
How quickly will I see results?
How quickly you notice results is generally different from individual to individual. This can depend on how closely you have stuck to the program; you’re current fitness levels and what your goals are. However for the majority of our clients they report that they feel and see a marked difference in as little as 2-3 weeks from starting the program.
How many sessions per week should I do?
For most clients we recommend that you do a minimum of 3 structured exercise sessions per week. You chose how many of these sessions each week will be with your trainer.
I'm very unfit at the moment, will I be able to cope with the exercises?
Yes, each exercise in the workout has different levels of intensity, so you find the level you can cope with. Then you step up to the next level when this starts to get easy.
What makes Get Results small group training better than any other group fitness classes or boot camps?
At Get Results Small Group Training we keep our numbers small and the quality of service high. We take great care in making sure each participant is getting the support and advice they need to feel comfortable in the class. We also continually communicate with you to ensure that you are making the correct lifestyle choices away from the gym and guide you and keep you motivated to stay on track.
What is involved in Get Results Small Group Personal Training?
First thing we do is go through our workshop which gets you to sets some goals, and develop your own plan to suit your own lifestyle. In the workshop we will also cover all the nutritional information you will need for to make this a success for you. We then meet for your metabolic workouts which mix big movements using large muscle groups and high intensity cardiovascular exercises. We then finish up with a nice stretch and a catch up with everyone to see how they are progressing.
What do I bring with me to my sessions?
You don’t need to bring much with you to our sessions, just wear what you are comfortable working out in and bring along a drink of water and a nice positive attitude.
What can I realistically expect to achieve in Small Group Personal Training?
It is realistic to start losing inches within the first few weeks of a block. Another massive change you will feel is the sense of satisfaction you will get from doing the workouts. The feeling you get from being fitter and healthier is almost unbelievable, it will have an impact on every area of you life. You will sleep better, have more energy throughout every day, no longer crave the wrong foods and will be a lot less likely to feel stressed out when life gets tough. You will also start to look more toned and lean and people will start to comment on your shape changing. Ultimately the greater the goal the longer it will take to get there, but what will surprise you most is how quickly you start to make huge strides towards that goal.
What do I do at the end of the block?
This is a personal choice, but most people once they have experienced the amazing changes that can occur from Get Results Personal Training will keep returning to the sessions. You will then have an option to join the sessions at a lower rate on a monthly membership.You will have finally found an exercise regime that does not feel like a chore, get results and is not hurting the purse strings too much! The great thing about our Small Group Sessions is that no matter how long you have been attending your instructor will always find a level of exercise that keeps challenging you, keeps you stimulated and always gets results.
How do I pay?
To join a Get Results program we will set you up with a standing order. By getting our clients to commit to a certain number of sessions per week we have found that our clients get much better results. We are able to consistently support and guide them and we have found that clients are also a lot less likely to miss sessions on a standing order, which ultimately is the key to achieving amazing results.
