WERE BACK

Hi Stranger

As you might have noticed we’ve not been keeping up to date with our blog for a while. This has been due to a host of technical problems with our website (new website now up and running!) and me taking my eye of the ball a bit when it comes to creating content.

So if you are still interested in reading all things health and fitness related then we are back and we plan to be more consistent with getting great info out to you.

So what have we been up to since we last spoke; well we have continued to work with a great bunch of clients helping them look better, feel better and move better. We take such pleasure in helping our clients make the changes that will help improve the quality and quantity of the years in their life.

I have also just completed a Functional Ageing Course which has taught me a more in-depth way to develop and adapt programs for clients over 40. The way we train a 50-year-old more often than not should be different to the way we would train a 20-something; our bodies go through quite a lot of changes over those years and we need to know how to train the smarter way to get the most out of them. The most exciting thing I took from the course was the results people are getting no matter their age or previous lifestyle. The research shows that it really never is too late to take action to improve your health.

fb group

We have also started a Facebook group with current and former clients to establish a community of like-minded people to discuss individual fitness journeys, encourage each other to always succeed and generally to just have a fun approach to health and fitness.

raised funds

The last exciting piece of news I want to update you about was our recent MS Society fundraiser – the most successful to date – that we held last month.  We organised a Walk and Grub Event with raffle prizes which raised an amazing £1000!!!! We were so humbled by everyone’s generosity and really enjoyed bringing our community together on the day.

So what has the rest of 2016 got in store for us. Well first and foremost we want to continue to help and support as many people to achieve great health as we can. We also plan to have more social walks with our community as this is a great way for everyone to get together and chat and get to know each other more. This weekend I will be attending an exciting fitness conference in Edinburgh to help improve my knowledge and myself, Sharon and Jim will be meeting on a regular basis to try and improve the service we offer and make sure that everyone in our community is getting everything they need from working with Get Results Fitness.

It is great to be back in the loop with you again and if there are any topics in particular that you would like us to cover, please gives us a shout and we will do our best to cover it.

Thanks

Paul and the Team
